Dowagiac, Michigan (December 15, 2010) – MJV Building Services, Inc.  announced the hiring of Michael Vollmer, former President of HouseWorks, Inc. which has been in business for over 30 years.  “I am both humbled and excited by the opportunity to become a member of Team MJV. Our TEAM will focus on the retention of current customers while also pursuing future business development,” said Michael.  Michael will assume the responsibilities of business development in Michigan and Northern Indiana.

“Our Team is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Michael and provide our healthy cleaning solutions in the geographical markets he will be servicing”, said James Heck, President of MJV.  “He is a perfect fit for us and shares similar growth ambitions as our entire Team.”

Our commitment to improving the company culture through Team Member programs and activities was very rewarding.  Some highlights of the year include:

      4.  Acquisitions of 2 street sweeping / parking lot sweeping companies.

      5. Introduction of Project Solutions Division (painting services, special projects, machine cleaning, parking lot sweeping, stone care, window cleaning, floor coatings, etc.)

      6.  Renewal of GS-42 Green Seal Certification – Indiana’s first certified building service contractor.

      7.  Expansion into Kentucky market

      8.  Addition of another outside sales professional and inside sales position to generate immediate growth

 

MJV had a successful 2009 and we are looking forward to a very exciting 2010.
